Burleigh Gold Coast | Hugh Jackman

What is Up Bellaz Islanders 

At the moment students are on holidays and I went down to the Gold Coast Australia for a week with my lovely host family. We went to a place called Burleigh, it is not far from the center of gold coast Surfers Paradise. We stayed at a apartment and the beach was just across the road. 

                                           
It is really convenient because you do not have to walk a long way and you can see the beautiful view of the beach even though the trees have been cover part of it. If you are the person who scared of gain weight, will you do not have to be afraid anymore, Burleigh is a place where there is not much people so you can walk along the beach, running on the beach or run along the concrete path. There are many people exercising along the concrete path, so you are not the only one !! 

It is a really good place to have a holiday, for winter in Australia it is not very cold but a bit chilli. There are shops down the road on the right so you can enjoy the meals just down the road, it is about 6 minutes walk. 

There are : 

• Nandos
• Canteen Coffee 
• Fish and chips shop
• The coffee club
• Shushi Train
• Italian restaurant 
• Indian restaurant
• Sports Bar
• And more but I cannot recall it

So maybe you guys are wondering why do I have Hugh Jackman on the title, because he came and stayed at Burleigh with his family for holiday just on the second last day where we were leaving, which is 26th of June. He was spotted at the canteen coffee shop in the morning and I found that shop. That day I was at Harbour Town (shopping outlet) in the morning, so I went to the Burleigh center and walked through every shop hoping to meet him but I did not. I know the possibility is tiny but you never know. However from the bright side I spend the holiday at the same place with Hugh Jackman.

Burleigh is a place that is really worth going for family holiday, if you do not like big city then it is the perfect place. Beach, sunshine, shops, restaurants, everything you can think of is there.
