It has been a long time since I visited Japan last time, I went to Japan this time because of golf tournament. Of course the place that we are staying is really far away from the city, and we have to have shopping in Japan (the most important thing not the tournament ;) So first day we went and stayed at a hotel that located in Shinjuku, which is one of the biggest city in Japan besides Tokyo.

As you guys may or may not know, Japan rail and train and I don't know how to call, like BRT is very popular and can get you anywhere. However it is very complicated ! So you really need to understand and also the stations are very very crowded when you are at like big cities.

Also a good information is that there are cheap trains and expensive trains which is the Japan express rail, I think is JR. So if you gonna be using it for a lot in the trip, I advice you to buy a pass that you can take the rail unlimited time, depends on how many days you buy for. For us we had a 7 days rail pass, so we can use it for 7 days only. The pass is quite expensive, our pass is around 20000 Yen.

So we are on the way to Shinjuku from the Airport. It is like midnight when we get to the hotel, but we still went out until like 2 O'clock.

The city of Shinjuku is called the night that never sleeps, the shops opens late, and there are shops like sushi, ramen shops so you can have food even it is after midnight.

How much shopping have we done !!

There are a lot of shops back in the center where we went, if you are from outside of Japan, when you buy over 10000 Yen, you can have tax free! So remember when you go shopping, you need to bring your passport so you can do tax free immediately .
